What is your Security Guarantee?

Portion Doctor guarantees your shopping experience with us is 100% safe. We use proven encryption software and technology to secure your transactions with Portion Doctor so that credit card information cannot be read by unauthorized parties as it travels over the internet. This is the same encryption technology used by banks, restaurants, hotels, etc.

What is your Privacy Agreement?

When Portion Doctor collects information directly from you, we obtain this personal information in order to provide you with our goods or services, to provide customer service and to fulfill any legal or regulatory requirements. We also obtain personal information as a result of consumers' financial transactions with Portion Doctor or with Portion Doctor merchants. We respect your privacy. Your personal information is not sold or shared with others.

How does Encryption Security Work?

Once you enter you credit card number information, the encrypted information is sent directly to one of the world’s largest credit card processing companies for authorization. Portion Doctor does not maintain a record of your credit card number any longer than absolutely necessary.

How do I shop?

Just like a physical retail store, PortionDoctor.com provides you with a shopping basket. Once you have discovered an item you want, simply click the button marked “Add to Shopping Cart”. From there, you can begin the ordering process or continue to shop. The item will remain in your cart wherever you decide to go in the store, and you can always remove an item later if you change

Portion Doctor Products: Return Policy

Customer satisfaction is always our ultimate goal. If for whatever reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, returns will be accepted for thirty days from the date of purchase.  Product must be returned in the original packaging and in resellable condition. Please contact us at custservice@portiondoctor.com for details.

 


  • All products shipped directly from the Portion Doctor have a 30 day warrranty from the date of shipping.
  • We do not refund any shipping charges.
  • Warranty only covers products damaged or broken during normal use. (Please consult your manual or our website for proper care instructions.)
  • If you would like to return a product for any other reason than being damaged or broken, a 20% restocking fee will be charged.
  • Please include a copy of your invoice and a phone number with your return.

 

Scales: Warranty and Return Policies

  • Please consult the Troubleshooting Guide and check your scale's Manual before retuning your scale.
  • All of the digital scales we carry are covered by a manufactures warranty.
  • We will only accept returns for scales that are damaged in shipping.
  • For those who decide the scale they ordered does not fit their needs, we will accept returns minus a 20% restocking fee and shipping charges.
  • Scales returned for this reason must be returned in exactly the same condition as they were received.
  • All accessories and paperwork must be included and there must be no damage to the packaging.
  • If we receive a scale for return with damage to the box, missing items, or signs of use, we will charge a 30% to 50% restocking fee at our sole discretion.
  • We must be notified of all returns within 48 hours of delivery by email or phone (904)687-7487 or custservice@portiondoctor.com.
  • All return shipments must be postmarked within 10 days of delivery.
  • Any problems encountered with your scale after 48 hours of delivery must be resolved through the manufactures warranty.
  • We do not refund original or return shipping charges.
  • Please include a copy of your invoice and a contact phone number with your return.
*American Weigh Scales does not service other manufacturers warranties.

 

What payment options do you offer?

  • Credit and Debit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards and bank debit cards.
  • Purchase orders are accepted from pre-approved corporations, medical institutions, and educational organizations. Purchase orders can be faxed to 904-687-1419. What if I receive the wrong merchandise?

What is your charge for Sales Tax?

By law, we must collect applicable sales tax for orders shipping to Florida. Sales tax does not apply to purchases of gift certificates.

How do I redeem Portion Doctor Coupons and what restrictions apply?

Visit us at www.PortionDoctor.com. Shop as you normally would, placing the items you like in your shopping cart. Select the Coupon Box on the shipping information page. Enter your Portion Doctor Coupon number in the appropriate area. The amount of the coupon will be deducted from your order.

  • Coupons can only be redeemed online at www.PortionDoctor.com.
  • Only one coupon may be used per order and coupons cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion.
  • Coupons are not redeemable for cash.
  • Portion Doctor reserves the right to stop accepting coupons at any time regardless of expiration date.
